General Guidelines for Presentations of Webcasts, Webinars and/or Tutorials
- Webcasts are keynote presentations on a topic where the audience does not interact with the presenter(60-90 min)
- Webinars are presentations on, typically, more specialized topics for a small group of interactive participants who can comment and ask questions during the session (30-45 min)
- Tutorials are pre-recorded sessions on specialized topics that can viewed by anyone in the community (3-10 min)
Regardless of the format you choose to present, keep in mind that peoples’ attention spans are short. Keep your communications energetic, concise and on-topic.
